Job Title: Classroom Assistant for Year 2 Class

Zest are seeking a dedicated Classroom Assistant to join a Year 2 class. If you are passionate about supporting young learners and thrive in a collaborative educational setting, we want to hear from you!

Role Overview: As a Classroom Assistant for our Year 2 class, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the class teacher in delivering high-quality education to students. Your responsibilities will include assisting with classroom activities, providing one-on-one support to students, helping to prepare teaching materials, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
• Provide one-on-one assistance to students who require additional support.
• Assist in the preparation and organization of classroom materials and resources.
• Supervise students during classroom activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and respected.
• Collaborate effectively with the class teacher and other members of the school staff.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
• A genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of young children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards working with students of varying abilities.
• Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake training as required.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
