Zest Education are recruiting exclusively for a popular primary school in Kings Heath, for a Level 3 qualified teaching assistant.
This is a part time role (4 days per week) and can be flexible for the right candidate. The successful candidate must be NVQ Level 3 qualified Teaching assistant to work on a part time contract from Easter 2022 until the end of the summer term. Previous experience working with Read Write inc would be advantageous but is not essential.
The role will be working on a 1-1 basis with a child who requires additional support to focus within the classroom. You will need to be understanding, approachable and have a positive work ethic. You will be consistent in managing behaviour and being able to contribute to the child’s development and education.
The school itself is a popular primary school in Kings Heath which has an excellent reputation and supportive ethos across the school.
The role will be 3 days per week (Tuesday – Thursday) and there is potential for this role to be made permanent for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will need to be NVQ level 3 qualified or above (in a relevant subject) as this is preferred but is not essential.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
