Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant for a part-time role at a 2 form entry school in Littleover. This role offers the opportunity to work 2-3 days a week and contribute to the educational development of students in a supportive and dynamic environment- starting immediately.

The school is a welcoming and vibrant 2 form entry school that values the individual needs of each student. With a focus on holistic development and creating a nurturing learning environment, the school provides ample support and resources for both students and staff to thrive.

At this school, teaching assistants are viewed as valuable members of the educational team. The school provides regular training opportunities, mentoring, and collaborative support to enable teaching assistants to excel in their roles. You will have the chance to work closely with experienced teachers and contribute to the overall success of the students. A part-time role offers a flexible working arrangement that allows you to balance your work with other commitments or responsibilities. This role provides the opportunity to gain experience in the education sector, develop your skills, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of students, all while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Responsibilities:
– Supporting teachers in planning and delivering lessons
– Assisting students with their learning and development
– Providing one-on-one support to students with specific needs
– Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
– Collaborating with colleagues and parents to ensure student progress

Requirements:
– Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team
– Willingness to learn and adapt to different situations
– A passion for education and supporting student growth

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
