Resource Base Teaching Assistant

Job Description

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners? An exciting opportunity is available at a primary school in Yardley for dedicated teaching assistants.

The schools are both popular within the local area and are top choices for parents. They both aim to create an inclusive and friendly environment which nurtures all children. The schools also have close links with many other schools in the local area.

As a resource base teaching assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students who need extra help to reach their full potential. Working across both the junior and infant sites, you will provide individualized assistance within the resource base, ensuring that every child receives the support they need to thrive academically and emotionally.

The ideal candidate must have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to help children succeed. Previous experience in a similar role and relevant qualifications would be advantageous. You must also be able to work well in part of a team as will need to work well with other staff members within the resource base.

Being comfortable working with all ages in primary schools is vital for this role.

The school are looking for candidates to start as soon as possible to continue on a full time, long term basis.

The pay for this role will start from £80 a day.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
