Zest Education are recruiting exclusively for a teaching assistant at a busy first school in Redditch. This is a full-time position, starting as soon as possible and will continue until the end of the academic year.
We’re looking for a versatile individual who is resourceful, hardworking, and passionate about education. You will be confident in assisting small groups for core focus groups and you will be adaptable to work across different year groups when required. The specific year group will be assigned upon successful interview.
The school is recognised as a good primary and is aiming to become an outstanding school in the near future. The school benefits from a dedicated team who work well together to ensure this is a safe and supportive environment for all children to develop into independent and caring individuals.
If you have previous experience working with phonics and ‘Read Write inc’ then this would be advantageous but is not essential.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
