Look no further, as Zest Education, an award-winning education agency, is currently working closely with a delightful school in Erdington to find a talented 1-1 Teaching Assistant to join their KS1 class. This is a full-time position commencing at the start of the academic year, offering a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young students.

As a 1-1 Teaching Assistant at this esteemed school, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a specific student, providing tailored support and guidance to help them achieve their academic goals. The successful candidate must possess a relevant qualification in education or teaching assistance, along with previous experience working with students in a similar capacity. Strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents are essential for this role. Additionally, a proactive and adaptable approach to learning and development, coupled with a genuine passion for education, will set you up for success in this position.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
