Job Description

If you are a Teacher based in Telford who is looking for a more flexible role, look no futher!

Zest Education is working closely with several secondary schools in Telford and surrounding areas who have had a high demand for part time General Supply Teachers. The roles available are to start ASAP and are flexible to work around you and your commitments.

The beauty of supply teaching is that you can choose the days you want to work and can be working locally to your area.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A strong passion for a number of subjects and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
  • A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements).
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management
  • Good time management and ICT skills

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).

The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
