Are you passionate about providing nutritious meals to children in a school environment? We are currently seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team at a Primary School located in Littleover, Derby. This part-time role offers flexibility to suit your schedule.
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the school’s kitchen operations, ensuring that meals are prepared and served efficiently. While previous experience as a kitchen assistant in a school is desirable, it is not essential. We welcome individuals who are enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to contribute to the well-being of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assisting in meal preparation and serving
– Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen
– Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
