We have teamed up with a ‘good’ private nursery in the Sandwell area who are looking for a Nursery Nurse to begin from November 2024 on an ongoing basis (Maternity cover) working Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week.
The ‘good’ rated Nursery is a popular choice in the local community due to the team’s passionate and dedicated attitude in putting the children first in everything they do. The Nursery works hard to support each child, regardless of ability, and to ensure that each child has a safe space to grow and flourish, with extensive garden areas as well as multiple rooms.
Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:
– Providing a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and play
– Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities
– Monitoring children’s development and progress
– Communicating effectively with parents and caregivers
– Ensuring the well-being and safety of all children in your care
To be successful within this position you must:
– Relevant childcare qualifications such as an NVQ or CACHE Level 3
– Previous experience working with children in a similiar setting
– Good communication and interpersonal skills
– Patience and the ability to remain calm under pressure
– A genuine passion for working with children
By meeting these responsibilities and requirements, nursery nurses play a crucial role in shaping the early years of children’s lives.
Pay for this role will be based on experience and qualifications and will be decided on a candidate to candidate basis.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
