Year 3/4 Teaching Assistant

Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 3/4 Teaching Assistant to join a reputable school in Oldbury on a full-time basis starting from December 2024 and continuing on an ongoing basis.

Situated in the heart of Oldbury lies a wonderful primary school known for its commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. This school stands out for its dedicated teachers who go above and beyond to ensure that each student receives personalised attention and support. The classrooms are vibrant and engaging, equipped with modern teaching tools to enhance the learning experience.

The successful candidate must :
– Relevant experience working with children in a similar role.
– A genuine interest in supporting the educational development of Year 3/4 students.
– Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
– Relevant qualifications or certifications in education or childcare.

Job Responsibilities:
– Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons.
– Support individual students with their learning and development.
– Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
– Assist in the planning and preparation of educational activities.
– Provide feedback to the class teacher on student progress and behaviour.

Pay will begin from £77.00 per day and will depend on references and experience.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
