Wrap around care

Zest are on the hunt for an enthusiastic and dedicated Wraparound Teaching Assistant to work at a primary school on the outskirts of Lichfield.

We welcome applications from individuals who care about people and can form strong relationships. They will nurture, support, and encourage our pupils to engage in active play and develop strong social skills.

You will be required to work 15 hours per week (3pm – 6pm), term time only.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Qualified with an NVQ Level 2 and have experience working in a Primary School, ideally in wraparound care.
• Nurturing and committed to working with students to help them achieve their potential
• Able to create a culture and ethos where all students can achieve success and become engaged in their own learning
• An excellent communicator and demonstrates openness and honesty
• An excellent team player who enjoys working collaboratively

This specific primary is a growing school at the heart of a new community in Lichfield. The school has been built as part of a large residential development. This is a small team with big ambitions; aiming to provide the best education locally. They are a part of a Trust, in which primary, secondary and special schools work alongside one another to support the most positive outcomes for all pupils across the trust.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
