Year 6 Class Teacher

Roles and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that inspire and challenge Year 6 students. They will need to demonstrate strong classroom management skills, create a supportive learning environment, and facilitate both individual and group activities. The Year 6 Teacher will be expected to assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the overall success of the cohort. Additionally, participation in staff meetings, parent communications, and school events is essential to maintain a cohesive school community.

Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
– Experience teaching in Year 6 or upper Key Stage 2
– Strong knowledge of the national curriculum
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
– A proactive and collaborative approach to teaching

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
