Zest Education is collaborating with a ‘good’ rated Ofsted school in Rowley Regis who are currently seeking a dedicated Full-Time Teaching Assistant to join their team. This exciting opportunity involves working Monday to Friday from September 2024 until April 2025, with the potential for the role to extend further based on performance.
Our wonderful partner school is a ‘good’ rated two form entry primary school in Rowley Regis . The team of staff shows high levels of dedication and hard work within the school community. Teachers in these schools go above and beyond to create engaging lessons that cater to individual learning styles, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
To be successful in this role you must:
– Strong Communication Skills: Effective communication is essential for a teaching assistant to interact with both teachers and students clearly and confidently.
– Patience and Empathy: Working with students requires a great deal of patience and understanding. Empathy towards students’ needs and challenges is vital.
– Experience working within a classroom environment, this role will require the successful candidate to work across EYFS through to KS2.
– Adaptability: Being adaptable and flexible in different situations helps teaching assistants handle unexpected challenges and changes smoothly.
– Team Player: Collaboration with teachers and other staff members is crucial for a teaching assistant to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
The successful candidate will be expected too:
– Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons to students.
– Provide one-on-one support to students who may require additional help with their coursework.
– Assist in creating and maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment within the classroom.
– Help in preparing teaching materials and resources for lessons.
– Support the teacher in assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.
Pay will begin from £76.92 per day and will depend on experience and references.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
