Teaching Assistant Level 3 Desirable – Level 2 would be considered

Zest are recruiting for a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant to work at a primary school just outside of Lichfield. This role is part time, 20 hours per week. This role is due to start in September.

This primary academy is part of a popular Multi Academy Trust who believe in the power of education to improve lives. The school are seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support the children in a Year 2 class.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:
– Enthusiasm, passion, and a nurturing approach to working with children
– a belief that ‘what happens early, matters for a lifetime’

Level 3 and relevant EYFS qualification is desirable – but Level 2 would be considered. The school are looking for an individual who is prepared to pull together with others to help achieve common goals. In turn the school will provide a supportive leadership team, a wonderful new school building, opportunities for first class professional development and a happy team to work within.

Individuals who are keen to undertake additional hours and support wrap-around provision, that operates from 7:30am and runs until 6.00pm would be highly considered.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
