Zest Education are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Early Career Teacher to join a passionate team and make a significant impact on the lives of  Year 2 students.

The Role: As a Year 2 ECT, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to our eager and diverse learners. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, fostering a love for learning, and supporting the overall development of each child. This is an excellent opportunity for an early career teacher to grow and develop their skills within a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver creative and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider community to support student development.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the school’s ethos and values.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A recognized teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
• Experience working with primary-aged children, either through placements or previous employment.
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• An ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
