A popular special educational needs secondary school in Telford is recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis starting as soon as possible.
This school caters for students from the age of 6-17 with Autism (ASC) and social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH). You will be required to work alongside the class teacher to ensure that the students have a good understanding of what is expected of them. You will be working with the students 1:1 and in small groups, so it is important you have a flexible approach.
The school is improving within academic and attainment levels and is continually looking to ensure their students develop into respectable and inspiring individuals. This position is due to start as soon as possible and will be ongoing until the end of the academic year, on a full-time basis.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
