Year 5/6 PE Teacher Position in Tamworth

Job Description

Are you a passionate and dedicated PE Teacher with experience working with Year 5 and 6 students?

Zest Education is currently recruiting for a part-time PE Teacher to cover PE lessons for Year 5 and 6 students in Tamworth. This position is to start after May half term.

As the Year 5/6 PE Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the physical education curriculum for these year groups. Your main responsibilities will include planning and delivering engaging and inclusive PE lessons, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to help students improve their sports skills.

To be successful in this role, you must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching PE to Year 5 and 6 students.

You should have a deep understanding of the national curriculum for physical education and be able to adapt your teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, dynamic, and have a genuine passion for promoting physical activity and healthy living among young children. You should have excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

This is a part time position, and the successful candidate will be expected to work Wednesdays & Friday during regular school hours.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
