Full Time Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant

Job Description

Zest Education is currently collaborating with a reputable school in Brownhills that is seeking a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to become part of their team on a full-time basis starting from September 2024. This opportunity offers ongoing employment for the successful candidate who will play a crucial role in supporting the educational development of young students.

The successful candidate must have effective communication skills with a passion for education and providing a positive educational journey for the students. The school are looking for a candidate with prior experience working within a educational setting preferably working with key stage 2 students. Knowledge of key stage 2 curriculum is desirable.

The school are looking for a candidate who is willing to:
– Assist the classroom teacher in preparing materials and resources for lessons.
– Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help in their academic studies.
– Supervise students during class activities and ensure their safety at all times.
– Support the teacher in managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment.
– Help with administrative tasks such as recording attendance and maintaining student records.

Pay will begin from £76.92 per day and will depend on references and experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
