Zest Education are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Year 5 Teacher to join their team and make a positive impact on our pupils’ educational journey.

Role Overview: As a Part-Time Year 5 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to Year 5 students. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to create engaging and effective lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our pupils. This role is perfect for a motivated and enthusiastic teacher who is committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor pupils’ progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop innovative teaching strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child’s progress.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Proven experience teaching at the primary level, preferably in Year 5.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.

Pay will start at £150 per day depending on experience and references

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
