If you have a passion for sports and coaching and are looking for an exciting opportunity in Solihull and nearby areas, then Zest Education might have the perfect role for you. We are on the lookout for dedicated sports instructors to join our team in September 2024. This position is ideal for recent graduates (between 2022-2024) who are keen on gaining valuable experience in school settings.
You will have the chance to lead and manage groups of students aged 11 to 18, fostering their educational journey. The ideal candidate for this role should have prior experience in overseeing and guiding children and young individuals across various environments. Cover supervisors at Zest Education come from a diverse range of backgrounds, including those who have been:
– youth workers
– sports coaches
– scout leaders
Your responsibilities will be overseeing both KS3 and KS4 physical education lessons, conducting pre-planned activities in the absence of teaching staff. It is essential to prioritize student safety by upholding health and safety standards while ensuring that students actively participate in enjoyable physical activities during their P.E. classes.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
