Zest Education is thrilled to collaborate with a prestigious school in Stafford in search of a talented Year 1 Teacher to join their dedicated team on a part-time basis. The selected candidate will work 3 days a week, commencing as soon as possible and continuing through to the end of the academic year.
This two-form entry school is constantly striving to enhance the learning environment for both students and faculty. They make sure that their curriculum is inclusive and interesting so that every kid, regardless of needs or abilities, can succeed. They have put a lot of effort into creating a curriculum that is interesting and thought-provoking, and they are constantly searching for innovative and fun methods to teach it.
The successful candidate must have:
– Valid teaching status (QTS Status)
– Demonstrated experience teaching Year 1 curriculum
– Ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to student needs
– Strong classroom management skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities of the role:
– Plan and deliver dynamic lessons that foster student engagement and progression
– Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback where necessary
– Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience
– Establish a safe and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and growth

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
