Job Title: Year 2 Teaching Assistant

Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Part-time
Salary: £85 daily rate
Zest Education, in collaboration with a charming school in Telford, is seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team. The school boasts a welcoming and supportive atmosphere, providing an ideal setting for both staff and students to thrive. With a one form entry structure, the school offers a close-knit community where every individual is valued and championed.
The successful candidate will benefit from the convenient location of the school, with ample public transport options available. For those driving, onsite parking facilities are also provided. The initial contract for this role is for six weeks, with a strong possibility of extension until the end of the academic year.
This position offers a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and committed individual to contribute to the education and development of Year 2 students. With no requirement for planning or marking, the focus is solely on providing essential support to the classroom teacher and ensuring the smooth running of the educational environment.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
