Zest Education is currently recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant position at a primary school in Brownhills. This role is specifically for supporting the learning of a Year 4 child with additional needs.
The primary school has a mission to nurture, inspire and educate their children in a happy, safe and supportive learning environment where emotional well-being, rounded education and striving for excellence are at the centre of everything they do.
Position: Full-Time Teaching Assistant 1:1
Location: Primary School in Brownhills
Start Date: May 2024
Duration: Until the end of the academic year with the possibility to continue
Responsibilities:
– Provide one-on-one support to a Year 4 child with additional needs
– Assist with the child’s learning and social development
– Implement strategies to facilitate the child’s educational progress
– Collaborate with the teaching team to create a supportive learning environment
Requirements:
– Minimum Level 2 qualification in childcare
– Recent experience working as a teaching assistant with references
– Ability to provide individualised support and care
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Passion for contributing to a child’s educational journey

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
