Teacher of Maths (0.4)

Job Description

Zest Education are seeking a qualified Teacher of Maths to join a secondary school in the centre of Birmingham. This is a part time role (0.4) where planning and marking of KS4 lessons is required. The role is due to commence in April 2025 and will run until the end of the academic year.

Responsibilities:

– Planning and delivering engaging lessons for Key Stage 4 students
– Marking and providing feedback on student work
– Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a cohesive curriculum delivery
– Supporting student learning and progress through effective teaching practices
– Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required

Requirements:

– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
– Experience teaching Maths up to Key Stage 4
– Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to inspire and motivate students
– Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
