Are you passionate about working with children and supporting their educational journey? Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated part-time teaching assistant to join a fantastic school in Bromsgrove.
This rewarding role involves supporting the reception class in the mornings, five days a week. As a part-time TA, you will be responsible for assisting small groups and individual children, preparing classroom resources, and maintaining a nurturing learning environment. Your presence from 08.30 to 12.30, Monday to Friday, until the end of the academic year is crucial in ensuring the academic success and well-being of the students.
The ideal candidate should possess qualities of adaptability, resilience, and a strong work ethic. A thorough understanding of the national curriculum and a commitment to safeguarding children are essential requirements for this position. Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
