Humanities Teacher, Bromsgrove

Job Description

A secondary school that we closely work with in Bromsgrove is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Humanities Teacher to join their team. This is a full-time role, teaching History and Geography to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.

Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
– Experience teaching History and Geography at secondary level
– Ability to engage and inspire students in the subject matter
– Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
– Effective classroom management skills
– Commitment to ongoing professional development

Responsibilities:
– Delivering engaging and interactive lessons in History and Geography
– Planning and preparing lessons in line with the National Curriculum
– Assessing and evaluating students’ progress
– Providing constructive feedback to students and parents
– Collaborating with colleagues to develop schemes of work and share best practices
– Monitoring and maintaining student records
– Contributing to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and events
