We are looking for a Science Teacher to join a school we work with in the Shirley area. This role is to start in January 2024 until March 2024 with the possibility to extend until the end of the academic year. This is a part-time role (0.6 days) however, full-time is also available.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science and hold relevant qualifications, such as a degree in science or a related field. Previous teaching experience is preferred but not essential.
Responsibilities of the role include planning and delivering engaging science lessons to students, assessing student progress, and providing feedback and support to students as needed.
The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in the subject matter and able to effectively communicate complex scientific concepts to students of varying abilities. They will also have excellent classroom management skills and be able to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
The role advertised is for temporary supply work. Rate of pay varies from £153 – £211 a day.
